Microchipping

From 14th November 2009, all our ferrets for re-homing will be implanted with Pet-Detect ISO compliant microchips (suitable for pet passports).

 

Karen & Andy are now fully trained & RCVS certified implanters, fully insured, and will be offering this as a service to all pet animal owners in the area, both to promote responsible ownership & also to raise funds for ferret rescue. This will include dogs, cats & rabbits as well as ferrets.

 

Anyone requiring a ferret (or dog, cat, rabbit) to be micro-chipped, please ring Andy or Karen on 01539 739944 or email chip@cumbriaferretrescue.org.uk for an appointment. Current charge £10 per animal or £9 if three or more done together... Note: We will have to make an additional charge for fuel etc if outside Kendal.

 

We are doing another weekend at Pets at Home (Kendal) in March 2010
